Autonomous Bastard 2.0

definitely showing some signs of intelligence. I don't think I'm going to have any trouble navigating using only a single sensor.

if all goes well this bot should seem a lot smarter than auto b 1.0. if not - it will at least be a lot faster.

the SRF04's have a fairly wide sensing range. wide enough that the arena's corners don't really show up at a distance. to the bot the arena looks more like a circle than a square.

so far I've been testing the bot in a 4 foot plywood / lexan arena in my living room. it became apparent that I really need a full 6 foot arena to do proper testing in.

I've constructed a 6x6 enclosure in my den out of foam-board (or rather my den now -is- an arena). it's not any good for testing weapons - but that's what the living room arena is for.
