Autonomous Bastard 2.0

events not that far off - so I guess I better get this thing built.

I've got the hardware semi-mounted on a .08" carbon fiber base plate. I'm going with CF this time because 1. the titanium I used on Another Bastard wasn't stiff enough to prevent the blade from cutting into the robot and 2. I had a nice piece sitting around.

Side note: This robot is made possible by the SpamButcher spam fighter application.

the blade pictured probably isn't the one I'll use. most likely I'll use the one off of Another Bastard.

current weight is about 14oz (without armor, fasteners, some wiring, etc).

to put this in perspective - I've picked up a lot of nifty parts to save weight compared to Another Bastard - about 3oz between the battery, drivetrain and RX. Another Bastard could've been just as effective weighing 13oz if I'd used these parts - or more likely I would've stuck a speed 480 and 4oz blade on it.

So - yes I fully intend to load this puppy up to 20oz with armor and weaponry.

the code hasn't changed much - and probably won't until I get the body done.

the rest of the body will probably be titanium with some carbon fiber and lexan.
