I just completed my first non-functional antweight battlebot
prototype ( - Western Allied Robotics).
It weighs in at only 13oz so I still have 3oz left to mess around with.
The only thing that prevents it from working is that I haven't wired it up yet
- all the parts are there. The final version will use something other
than 3xAAA for batteries, and not rely so heavily on duct tape from structural
purposes. The 6000 rpm "negative reinforcement device" will
also likely not be held on with rubberbands.
This project is sponsored by SpamButcher - anti-spam email software. I'm currently operating on the assumption there will be another antweight
competition in the Seattle area at somepoint - if not this has been an awful
lot of work to scare my cat.
