SpamButcher is a powerful anti-spam program that can stop over 97% of unwanted email.
SpamButcher - Behind the CleaverOne unique feature I wanted SpamButcher to have was the ability to send scheduled reports of presumed spam mail caught by SpamButcher.The idea was to pro-actively let users know about messages that were filtered by the spam email blocker software - so if something did get picked up that they actually wanted, they would know about it. The user wouldn't have to remember to check their 'intercepted mail' folder on some regular basis. Using a few tricks - I was able to implement a system so messages could be restored directly from the report when being used as an anti-spam program for Outlook or spam filter for Outlook Express. The reports themselves work with all email clients that SpamButcher works with. This includes any that use the POP3 protocol. |
