Cutting Edge Spam Elimination

Important Note:

When importing lists of known senders, be sure that aliases for your own email address don't get added to the list.

If you add an alias of your own email address to the Known Good Senders list, no spam filtering will be performed for that address.

SpamButcher can import your Address Book into its Known Good Senders list (so they'll bypass the email filter) - but you have to export it into a .CSV (comma delimited) file first.

The following instructions may vary depending on what version of Outlook or Outlook Express you are running.

Outlook Express:
- Select File / Export / Address Book
- Select Text File (Comma Separated Values)
- Click Finish
- You can now import the .CSV file into your Known Good Senders list in SpamButcher

Outlook:
- Select File / Import and Export
- Choose "Export to a file"
- Select "Comma Separated Values"
- Select the "Contacts" folder
- Enter a file name ending in .CSV
- Click Finish
- You can now import the .CSV file into your Known Good Senders list in SpamButcher
