FTC's Anti-Spam Site

Mainly of interest due to it's link to the report on the "Do Not Email Registry" proposal. Basically it finds it wouldn't work.

Rest of the site is pretty worthless. It has a whole list of suggestion to reduce the amount of spam users receive - but fails to include using a junk email filter on the list. No where do they provide a list of anti-spam tools.

Also includes information on the astoundingly ineffective CAN-SPAM act so you can wave your finger at all that junk email while proclaiming it illegal.

But what do you expect? It's a government agency. At least they include a Spanish version of everything.
