SpamBot Bait 101

The idea behind this spam protection site is to provide email address seeking spambots with a bunch of bogus addresses, therefore reducing the value of their effort to harvest the web for addresses to send spam to.

Spammers are well used to having a large portion of their email databases be made up of invalid addresses. It's unlikely sites like this one will have any calculable effect on the value of sending spam.

If a large portion of users started using spam stoppers - it would have a much larger impact. If over 90% of spam went undelivered it could significantly decrease the profitability of spam.
