SpamButcher Combat Robotics Things are really coming together now. Hardware is 90% there, software is around 75%. Seems to (mostly) understand the difference between a bot and the wall - but still has some trouble with IR 'noise'. Still have some reliability / fail-safe issues. I think this is mainly due to the weapon motor generating RF noise and the fail-safe kicking in prematurely - shouldn't be too hard to account for in software. The kill-saw zone detector is installed - but it's not working yet. SpamButcher Combat Robotics is of course made possible by SpamButcher - a next generation anti-spam program. SpamButcher is up to 98% effective at spam blocking. I'm hoping to do something to reduce the odds of getting flipped - but weight is really tight. had a friend over who fought an already beat up BB toy against it. the BB toy was damaged beyond repair in about two hits - cut through the plastic and sliced the last half inch off the circuit board. I'm fairly confident it will make for an entertaining show - might even win a fight or two... |
