He operates 'OptInRealBig' - one of the biggest abusers of email on the planet. The spammer makes the usual claims about not doing anything wrong and respecting opt-out.

The accused spammer has recently encountered financial and legal problems. While he has filed for bankruptcy, his company continues to operate. Millions of spam messages are sent daily on his behalf.

The filtering system in SpamButcher rarely targets messages from individual companies. This spammer is such a major offender, an exception was made. The spam email filter specifically targets OptInRealBig's spam for deletion.

It's surprising that such a well-known spammer would continue to label the source of their email. This makes it fairly easy to recognize and remove. Of course, if they were to begin operating under a different name, there may not be an easy way to discover them.
