Spammers get Spammed

Reveries - an online marketing magazine has released a study on spam indicating that 45% of "marketers" (spammers?) have a "huge" problem preventing spam themselves.

The study showed that about 35% of those surveyed have enabled email spam filters to help cope with the problem. 27% have chosen to "unsubscribe" to the marketing lists that someone signed them up for.

According to Brad Wendkos, founder of TrueFire - a spamming company and sponsor of the survey: "Naturally, the permission email marketing industry does not promote the general unreliability of email delivery. And for good reason, when you consider that email marketing still delivers the highest ROI of any direct marketing medium and business is good for providers and clients alike." As long as idiots like this are around - business will be good for email spam blocker authors.
