Pat Robertson - Spam is Proof We've Angered God

In a recent appearance on his 700 Club TV show, Pat Robertson informed his audience that spam recipients were themselves to blame for receiving massive amounts of junk email.

"I saw woe unto thee who receive spam in their email application of choice. Such wrath is clearly an indication they have angered God, for what other explanation can be offered to the poor souls inundated by electronic advertisements for male potency products which circumvent all anti-spam email filter software?"

According to Pat, no seemingly random act is outside attribution to the wrath of the almighty. In other recent pronouncements, Robertson expressed similar attitudes towards victims of stroke, terrorism and hurricanes. He has also called for the assassination of the president of Venezuela while on a methamphetamine binge.

"If there's anything more pervasive than God's love, it's his ability to pound people in the ass for things most would consider trivial. He knows when you are sleeping, and when you are awake. He knows if you've been bad or good, so you should really be good, for the sake of goodness."
