Latest Spam Delivered Trojan Sends SMS Spam

System analysts have identified a previously unknown Trojan with a package that sends spam SMS emails (also known as `SPIM') to cell phones.

The exploit has been labeled as `Troj/Delf-HA' - after being installed on a PC the Trojan `calls home' to a Russian website for data on what spam to send. Problems with hacking out of Russia have been so prevalent that many system administrators have chosen to block traffic coming from the country. Korea and the Netherlands have also had similar problems. This can be frustrating for innocent users trying access the internet.
