More than 4,000 companies and 10 million consumers already rely on ‘Powered by Mailshell' products to block spam.

Mailshell's new SDK Lite requires less than 200KB of code on the device, and can be embedded into any product including mobile devices, wireless access points, desktop routers, firewalls, modems, and other low memory devices. Companies have been eager to embed anti-spam into their existing low-memory products either to generate new incremental subscription-based revenue or simply to remain competitive.

The SDK Lite translates incoming messages into a complex set of spam tags, which accurately identifies the spam attributes of the message. This engine transmits the spam tags to one of Mailshell's worldwide data centers where it is compared against millions of spam tags in Mailshell's databases. The SDK Lite then returns a ‘spam score', the probability between 0% and 100% that the message is spam. Customers set a ‘spam score' threshold, above which messages will be considered spam.
