Spam Leads to Despair

According to a silicon.com survey - 2/3rds of IT executives have reached a state of despair over the spam situation.

The report didn't make efforts to distinguish if there were other emotions felt in response to spam. Angst and anger would appear to be good candidates. Also, after trying various solutions that don't work, many users may eventually feel the onset of apathy towards the problem.

Not only is spam extremely pervasive - but many of the email filtering tools available to combat it are ineffective at fulfilling business spam filtering needs .
