Top Spam Subject Lines

AOL recently released its list of top spam mail subject lines. Here they are:

"All orders are shipped from authorized locations"

"Breaking News of the Top Pick Stock"

"STEAMY HOT (FILL IN THE BLANK) ACTION LIVE ON CAMERA!"

"You Have 17 New Pictures"

"You've been sent an Insta-Kiss!"

"We carry the most popular medications"

"Sale PRICES ARE BEST ONLINE!"

"HURRY, HURRY - Hot stock on the RISE!"

"Free* 30 Second Pre-Qualification MORTGAGE Application"

"2005 Digital Cable Filters"

Hang on a second before you go adding these to your custom spam filters. I've seen a lot of messages like these - but I can't say that I've seen any of them verbatim.

Spam these days seems to be so diverse - that the top 10 individual spams may only account for a tiny percentage of all junk e-mail messages. It's also unclear if these messages are those that got caught by AOL's spam mail blockers, or if these are ones that got through and were reported by end-users.
