Minor Product Tweaks

Not everything in version 1.8t is about blocking junk email. There have been a number of other minor adjustments to improve user experience.

SpamButcher now better deals with messages including attachments. You can now preview a message with an attachment within SpamButcher without having to restore it.

Previously, SpamButcher's code has been extremely cautious when dealing with such messages. The reason being is that attachments can sometime include viruses. If SpamButcher were to write a file to disk, or send via email an infected message, it might be targeted by anti-virus software as the actual source of such a message. The most recent revision deals with this problem more effectively.

The speed at which SpamButcher filters new messages has also been optimized. In the past, SpamButcher would continue to evaluate messages well past the point it had already been determined a messages was likely to be unwanted. Now, SpamButcher is smart enough to stop applying spam control rules once a message has clearly been determined to be spam.

SpamButcher's internal search feature has been substantially improved. Again, the tweaks have been the results of a general code review.
