Messages can be sorted by account, date intercepted, subject or sender. Blocked email can also be previewed within the application before restoring to your inbox.

When SpamButcher is not in use, it resides as an icon on your system tray. Whenever new non-spam mail is detected by the spam email filter, it displays a new email icon. Optionally, SpamButcher can also play a new mail notification sound of your choice.

To recover a message, simply select it and choose "Recover Message." SpamButcher will then deliver the email to your inbox.

Optionally, you can have SpamButcher send you scheduled reports of filtered messages to your inbox. When used as anti-spam software for Outlook or Outlook Express, it's possible to restore messages directly from the reports.

SpamButcher's spam stopper is not tied to any single email client. It can work with almost any email program that supports standard protocols. It can even work with many web-based accounts if POP3 access is provided.
